Terms & Conditions
By using this website you accept these terms. They are written in plain language on purpose: this site helps you reach your official bill and understand it — it is not itself an official service, and it never handles your money.
1. What this site is
MEPCO Bill Online is an independent informational website for electricity consumers in the MEPCO region of South Punjab. It provides a bill checker that forwards your number to the official PITC bill page, a bill calculator, and explanatory guides about tariffs, payments, complaints and connections. Use of the site is free.
2. No affiliation
This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by MEPCO, PITC, WAPDA, NEPRA or any government body. Names such as MEPCO are used only to describe the subject of the information. If you need an official service — a corrected bill, a new connection, a complaint decision — only MEPCO and its official channels can provide it; our contact page lists them.
3. The official bill governs
When you check a bill here, your browser submits your reference number or consumer ID directly to the official PITC bill page (bill.pitc.com.pk), and the bill shown there is the official record. The amount, due date and all other details on that official page govern — for payment, for disputes and for every other purpose. If anything on this site ever differs from the official bill or an official MEPCO notice, the official source is correct.
4. The calculator gives estimates only
The bill calculator produces an estimate from the tariff figures you enter or select. Real bills depend on the exact reading dates, the FPA and adjustments notified for the relevant months, your consumer category and any arrears or credits — so an estimate can differ from your actual bill. Never rely on an estimate as the amount payable; always pay the figure on the official bill.
5. Accuracy of information
Tariff rates, procedures and contact details on this site are taken from official notifications and published sources and are checked when pages are updated (each page footer shows the month). Tariffs and procedures can and do change — through new NEPRA determinations, government notifications or revised MEPCO processes — sometimes between our updates. Before acting on anything that costs money, verify it against your bill or an official source.
6. No payments, no accounts
This site does not accept payments, does not sell anything, and has no user accounts. Guides explain how to pay through official channels such as bank and wallet apps; when you pay, you pay those providers under their own terms. We will never ask for your PIN, password, OTP or card details — anyone who does so in this site's name is a fraud, as our privacy policy also states.
7. Acceptable use
You may use this site for your own personal, lawful purposes — checking and understanding your own bills and those of people who have asked you to help them. You agree not to: misuse the checker for numbers you have no reason to look up; attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or the official services it links to; copy the site's content wholesale for republication; or present this site, or anything copied from it, as an official MEPCO or government service.
8. External links
Pages here link to official third-party services — the PITC bill page, the CCMS complaint portal, MEPCO's website and others. Those services are outside our control and operate under their own terms and privacy policies; we are not responsible for their content, availability or handling of your information once you leave this site.
9. Liability
The site and its tools are provided “as is”, in good faith, for general information. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on an estimate, from a change in tariff or procedure after a page was updated, or from the unavailability of this site or of the official services it links to. Nothing in these terms limits your rights against MEPCO or any payment provider in respect of your actual bill or payments.
10. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the site's features change. The version posted on this page is the current one, and continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the updated terms. Questions about these terms are welcome via the contact page.
