MEPCO Consumer ID — Check Your Bill with 10 Digits

Alongside the reference number, every MEPCO bill carries a shorter 10-digit consumer ID (also called the customer ID). It opens the very same bill — and it is the easier number to read off a faded print.

Check your bill with consumer ID

The Consumer ID tab is already selected — just type the 10 digits.

🔒 Your number goes directly to the official PITC bill page — it is never stored on this website.

✅ Your bill is opening in a new tab.
If that tab shows the PITC search page instead of your bill, switch that page to its Consumer ID option, then copy and paste this number:

Or open the official PITC search page and paste it there — or go via the official MEPCO website.

Where the consumer ID is printed

Look at the Consumer Detail box near the top of any MEPCO bill. The reference number is the first line, and the consumer ID is printed directly below it, labelled “Consumer ID” or “Customer ID”, followed by your name and address. It is a plain 10-digit number with no letter at the end — type all 10 digits, with no spaces.

Like the reference number, your consumer ID belongs to your connection and stays the same over time, so it is worth saving in your phone once you have found it.

Payment apps accept the reference number as standard; some also accept the consumer ID. For simply viewing the bill, the two are interchangeable.

Common questions

My consumer ID has fewer than 10 digits — is it wrong?
Count again carefully: on current bills the consumer ID is 10 digits. If your bill is very old or the print is unclear, use the 14-digit reference number instead, or call MEPCO on 118 to confirm your numbers.
Can I pay the bill with the consumer ID?
Some apps and the PITC page accept it, but the reference number is the universally accepted key for payment. To avoid a misdirected payment, prefer the reference number when paying — see paying online.
I have neither number — what can I do?
Follow the recovery steps in the reference number guide: check payment app history, look for any old bill, or contact MEPCO with your CNIC and address. There is no online search by CNIC or meter number.
